A Montauk Mystery
When Matt Revington roars into Grayrocks, a resort town on Long Island, the locals, who consider all Revingtons land-stealing opportunists, treat him as a spoiled and greedy outsider. Surviving their hostile reception, Matt offers Annie Devane a summer job on an archeological expedition to the nearby Shell Islands. Once the home of the Montauk Indians, the islands are currently at the center of a debate between the developers and environmentalists. Thrilled about using her photography skills and immediately attracted to Matt, Annie accepts, despite the foreseeable criticism. As the expedition progresses, Annie's suspicions about helping a Revington turn to anger when she discovers the archeology team's true mission. Fear, however, prevails when she and Matt uncover startling information that threatens their lives and the future of the Shell Islands.
