Reilly Green, a small town journalist, takes advantage of a chance encounter with a celebrated adventure writer. An interview with the notoriously publicity-shy Derek Armstrong will give her a scoop that could get her out of Albion Springs and onto the staff of a major newspaper. Rachel Evans lives just outside Toronto with her husband and three disruptive cats. During the day, Rachel works at a local community college and likes to walk in the woods around her small town whenever possible. She enjoys road trips with her husband, especially to the American southwest, and spending time at their third-generation cottage in Ontario with her two grown daughters.
