Kathryn Quick lives in New Jersey with her husband and son Jarrett, whose adventures as a ring bearer when he was seven years old inspired this story. (Jarrett is now eighteen and in his first year of college and Jessie is a senior in high school in Colorado). She also has two grown twin sons: Scott in Arizona and Mark who lives in New Jersey.
