Jack Lewis has written nine feature films, six works for television, several military training films, eleven previous novels, some 6,000 magazine articles and short stories and nineteen other books. His many jobs have included horse wrangler, newspaper reporter, magazine editor, movie stuntman, structural steel worker and private detective. He served in World War II as a machine gunner and in Korea and Vietnam as a Marine Corps combat correspondent, one of the Corps’ “fighter-writers.” He now lives with his wife and dog in a beach house in Hawaii.
